The Two Aims:

2. To enable higher stakes, than were previously used, to be placed to play up winners and winning runs in the knowledge that long losing runs would not cause the system to fail.

This is not our staking plan, it has been around for Donkeys years, however it is way to complicated for the average player.

So we have after a long process managed to get our excel guru to make a spreadsheet to do all the heavy lifting, and make using the staking plan a breeze.

We want to say upfront that this is not our staking plan and therefore can not explain exactly the principles behind it.

If you have the Special Factor Staking plan either from purchasing it or finding it free on the internet, you will no doubt realise how hard it is to use.

And that is before you even think of using it on Betfair or other exchanges with commission to be added.

The Special Factor Staking Plan was devised in 1978, well before exchanges, and here 40 years later the staking plan is working well still.

You may remember it was advertised in Racing Post back then sold for around £30.00 I think.

You don't need to buy the the staking plan pdf, as the spreadsheet will do it all for you, all you do is make a few decisions before you start a series, and then follow the spread sheet stakes.

Let's Start a new series in the Special Factor Staking Plan.

1. Initial Bank: How much Bank are we allocating to this Series?

2. Multipler Factor: This is to level staking, so 1= level staking, 2 is a bit more progressive, 3 is very aggressive. (recommend 2 to start.)

3. Danger Point: Seek transfer of money from reserve bank to main bank when next aim is over the set percentage of the reserve bank.. 3 is 33%.

4. Commission: If using an exchange enter your commission level, if betting bookie use zero.

5. Allocation among Bank, Basic Bank (Main) how much of the winning bet proceeds be split 1=50%,2 is 66%

6. Allocation among Bank, Reserve Bank how much of the winning bet proceeds be split 1=50% , 2 is 66%

That is all you need to do to set it up and then you are ready to start betting.

Then you only use the Green Cells.

1. Put the odds in of the horse, dog, team or whatever you are betting on.

   2. Look at the stake amount and place the bet.

   Then, while waiting for the bet to be complete.

2. Put the date in (not required but helps keep a record).

3. Name of the horse, dog, team or whatever.

4. Event of the bet, race location etc.

5. Commission is automatically inputed, over ride it if you need to.

6. Results wait to see the outcome before inputting (L or W)

That is all you need to do. Easy Peasy.

New Addition: 3rd April, 2023 Cash Out Option added:

Now you can use Inplay, Cashout option if you like.

If you decide to settle a bet before the game ends now you can enter that into the Spreadsheet.

A: Inplay, if using it put in Y, and this will activate the cashout calculation.

B. Put in the Return less the stake for the cash out amount. And the P/L and calculations will be performed.

So you can run 5 different series of the Special Factor Staking Plan.

So if you tipsters you follow you can set up different series for them, or some for horses, dogs and football.

This spreadsheet brings the benefit of this wonderful staking plan without the heartache of working out the next stake and if you need to transfer funds from one bank to another, it is all done automatically.

So you enjoy the benefits, and get to enjoy the racing or watching the game without the hard work, as it should be!

But Steve, I don't have the Special Factor Staking Plan pdf, can I still use this spreadsheet?

Yes most definately, just as you don't need to know how are car is built to drive it, or how the TV works, as long as it comes on when you push the power button on the remote.

In fact, I would guess that 80% or more of the people that have brought the pdf, have never put it into practice because it is just way to hard!

The spreadsheet is point aim shoot, repeat, repeat and so on, because it is how you would want it to be.
